新年の抱負

新年開けましておめでとうございます！

去年の夏に日本の三重県に引っ越して、英語を教え始めました。
日本にきてから、色々なことをやっています。
今年も頑張って、まだやったことがなくて気になることをやってみたいと思います。
ですから、新年の抱負を考えました。
平成31年にやってみたいことの中では今より料理が上手になるし、日本の中で旅行するし、お金を貯めるし、サーフィンするし、ピアノを学び始めるし。
上達したいのです。

SUMMER BREAK HAS FINALLY ARRIVED!!!

I have now officially finished my first year of college~!

(Major: Foreign Language)

My first year wasn't that bad though my French teacher third quarter got on my nerves a bit and played favorites... (>.<)

 

Now that finals are over, I just feel so....amazed. I mean, after a super busy year of college and now a long, much needed summer break...(can't even describe it).

Now ,the question is: What am I going to do with all of my free time? Watch anime. Just kidding...read manga too (lol)

I guess i'll be babysitting a lot more now that school is out which means more $$$ for cons, cosplay, anime things, etc. (^ ^).

yays~

 

Speaking of anime things, my love interest♎ ♥ and I are planning on doing a kaito & miku ninja cosplay~ I am super stoked! Yays!!!!

We will probably cosplay them at either aki-con or kumori-con!

 

OMG! I love anime cons! I LITERALLY spend 2+ hours at a time in the dealer's room!!! (^ ^;)

And one thing I especially am looking forward to buying is an Arpakasso (pink)

Why? Here's why:

Time to Blog Again~

OMGS SUMMER IS ALMOST OVER!!!!!!!

I have been spending most of my summer so far babysitting for two families, seeing friends, listening to music, procrastinating on and working on getting ready for college, baking, swimming, drinking water, coloring, trolling, walking,  and a bunch of other stuff.

Today, I will be leaving for Olympic College at 1:30 PM for an orientation which begins at 2:30 PM and should probably get done around an hour and a half later. And since I procrastinated so long this summer and will have my college funded through financial aid...well, lets just say I hope I get to start this fall instead of this winter. But it should all work out in the end.

Once I am done at OC I need to head back home to babysit for the Collins family (I babysit four kids for them).

Then, tomorrow, I need to go out and buy some ingredients for Chicken Alfredo casserole which I will be making for the first time for my Dad's work's picnic this Saturday. Should be fun~ (^ ^)

Speaking of food, i'm kinda in a one-sided war with my friend Aoshi because his parents are gone for the week and he barely eats as is and now he has no one to cook him meals or remind him to eat. So, when I texted him yesterday to remind him to eat he got upset because I accused him of not eating last night when he stayed up late when he did, but if you knew the guy you would no that he takes little to no pleasure in eating food...he's gonna kill himself! I mean, yes, I did go a little over the top, but he should know it's only cause I care for him...!

On a different note, yesterday was the one month mark of my "Hatsukoi"~!!!! Though, I doubt my "koitobi" realized that...rofl hahahaha

WOW, I haven't written a blog in awhile..bare with me!

Time to get started! OK, I haven't been on here cause of stuff like applying for college, studying for finals, preparing for anime conventions, baby sitting, yeahs, and lots of stuff..!

Recently, I went to Sakura Con

During the weekend of Sakura Con, I stayed with my aunt, uncle, and cousin because they live 20 minutes from the convention center. I got, like, 5 hours of sleep for three days.. (=^=)

I spent almost $100 in merchandise (lol) X3

Irritation, [almost] Midnight Pancakes, Rain, Sakura Con

Welcome to my wonderfully imperfect blog everyone~!

So, on New Years Eve I was trying to reconfigure my laptop since my last crash back in summer, and while doing so I ended up accidently moving the charger's cord which lead to the charger falling out which lead to me having to switch outlets which lead to me dropping the laptop which lead to me dropping and breaking the cd/dvd drive (thats what it's called, right?). And since it wasn't done updating, I have to do the proccess all over again by installing the 3 recovery disks which I can no longer use because the cd/dvd drive is broken...and now my laptop will barely turn on..

On another note, two of my friends, Sasuke and Aoshi, came over yesterday. We played video games, and board games, and games of tag, and even discussed Aoshi's love for Aoi and Hime-sama X3  ahh..love triangles (just like an anime (^///<) lol. Also, at 11:00 PM (a little before Sasuke went home) we made some epic pancakes and had a feast. It was pretty amazing and i'm sure those of you reading this are very much jealous...yes, I know, you wish you had awesome pancakes. Though, the only thing that could have made it better is if we would have had lemonade

By the way, its raining right now. Yeah. Pretty epic!

Oh, and Aoshi got scolded this morning by his "rents" as Hime-sama likes to refer to them.. lol hahahahahahaha

Which reminds me that I need to find a job so I can pay to go (^^;)
Oh oh! And i'm also thinking about entering the AMV contest you know..just for fun (<.<)

Please know that I am like super dooper amazingly sorry for not have posted the AMV because all my files are on my laptop(<Akamaru) and I need to get my laptop fixed before I can put it up! I'll do my best to hurry up! (^.^)

For those of you who don't know me yet, My name is Mikumi and this is my wonderful blog that smells of pancakes... and lemonade~!

First of all, I am a Wiccan

About the religion Wicca

It is in many ways a postmodern faith, embracing religious relativism, and one that resonates powerfully for increasing numbers of people.

The central tenet of the Wiccan religion is the Wiccan Rede: "If you harm none, do what you will." This is a deceptively simple "commandment" which can take a lifetime to contemplate and to master. Many Wiccans also believe in the Law of Threefold Return, sometimes called the Rule of Three: “Whatever you do, for good or ill, will come back upon you three times over.”

Wiccans honor Deity as both male and female, God and Goddess -- or at the very least as Goddess. Many Wiccans believe that the universe is the body of God/dess, and therefore that all things contain Divine energy and that the world itself is sacred. Some Wiccans are polytheists (many God/desses); others are duotheists (God and Goddess, of whom all other Gods and Goddesses are simply aspects); others are monotheists (God and Goddess Themselves are simply aspects of an unknowable Source).

Wiccans generally do not believe that God/dess is separate from the world; therefore, we have no concept of salvation, since God/dess is present to all and always. Many Wiccans believe that God/dess is too big to fit inside one religion -- all religions/spiritual paths are ways of reaching the same goal, and atheism and agnosticism are honorable perspectives on the mystery of life.

Each Wiccan operates as their own priest/ess. We do not have a distinction between clergy and laity. Therefore, each Wiccan is responsible for their own personal development and for forging their own relationship with God/dess. Some Wiccans practice in covens, which are generally initiatory and require a long period of study (traditionally a year and a day) before entering. Others practice in loosely affiliated groups of solitaries, which are Wiccans who practice outside of traditional coven structure. Others simply practice alone.

Wiccans do not usually have churches. We create sacred space as and where needed, by casting "circles" of energy which function as temples. When inside those circles, we invite the spirits of the four Platonic elements (air, fire, water, and earth) to join us, as well as the Goddess and the God (or at minimum the Goddess).

Wiccans have celebrations which are timed to both the solar and lunar calendars. The solar festivals -- held at the solstices, the equinoxes, and four points in between them -- are called sabbats.

and tomorrow is the Winter Solstice/Yule!! This is the longest night of the year and I am very excited. 

Also, I think it's funny how everyone puts up Christmas trees which was originally part of the pagan festivals. (^ ^)
